Moshi Monsters was a delightful online game and virtual pet experience designed for children. It was developed by Mind Candy and offered a fun and safe environment where kids could create and nurture their very own adorable and unique virtual monsters.

In Moshi Monsters, players began by adopting and customizing their monster companion. With a wide range of colors, shapes, and features to choose from, each monster became a personalized and lovable companion. As players progressed through the game, they explored the vibrant and interactive world of Monstro City, a bustling hub where monsters of all kinds resided.

Engaging in various activities and mini-games, players cared for their monsters by feeding them, playing games with them, and even decorating their own monster's living space. As they bonded with their monster, they earned in-game currency, called Rox, which could be used to purchase food, items, and decorations to enhance their monster's experience.

One of the most enjoyable aspects of Moshi Monsters was the social element. Players could connect with friends and other players, visit their monster's homes, and exchange gifts. They could also collaborate on exciting in-game tasks and challenges, fostering a sense of camaraderie and teamwork.

Moshi Monsters embraced a fun and educational approach, offering puzzles, quizzes, and other activities that encouraged critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This combination of entertainment and learning made it a fantastic game for young players to enjoy.

With its vibrant visuals, engaging gameplay, and emphasis on creativity, Moshi Monsters provided a safe and entertaining virtual world where children could embark on exciting adventures, nurture their imagination, and develop valuable skills while caring for their lovable monsters.

As with many iconic Flash-powered games, Moshi Monsters was discontinued by its founder because of the discontinuation of support for Adobe Flash Player. According to him, "it's just not realistic or a sensible business decision" to keep Moshi Monsters going at that point since moving the game to another platform just wouldn't work. So, on 13 December 2019, Moshi Monsters officially went offline.
