This was a game that delivered absolutely every single feature that you would expect to see in a top-of-the-line MMORPG, so if you were looking for a feature-filled experience that impressed on all fronts, Bless Online was the way to go.
Your first few minutes in Bless Online revolved around completing a bunch of tutorial quests that had been implemented to teach players the fundamentals of the game. The tutorial quests were quite easy to follow and did an excellent job of explaining the basics, so you were able to develop a pretty solid understanding of the game as long as you paid close attention to them. Another thing worth noting was that these tutorial quests gave rewards in the form of currency and experience, so you probably made a worthwhile amount of progress by the time they were over.
The gameplay of Bless Online was loaded with tons upon tons of exciting things to do, making it the kind of MMORPG that you could pretty much never get bored of. Every single time you logged in to play Bless Online, you were able to find something fun and engaging to do, and this was exactly what made Bless Online such a delight. The game world was absolutely enormous and filled to the brim with multitudes of different quests to complete. There was an exceptional crafting system that allowed you to craft incredibly powerful items, challenging dungeons that you could battle through alongside your allies, and an enormous array of other features to keep busy with, like the Realm vs Realm battles.
Although the vast set of gameplay features offered by Bless Online was certainly praiseworthy, the unsung hero of the game was definitely its combat system because it was incredibly well designed and added an insane amount of depth to the gameplay. Each individual class felt unique to play because they all had access to their own distinct spells and abilities, and what was even more impressive was that no class felt underpowered or overpowered because they had all been balanced extremely well and had their strengths and weaknesses.
The visuals of Bless Online were nothing short of stunning because the game world was loaded with many exciting places to see, the textures were extremely high definition, the vibrant colors were a treat to look at, the character designs were spot-on, and the special effects that occurred during combat were a sight to behold.
Bless Online was free to download and play, but it did have micro-transactions through which you could get your hands on in-game bonuses in exchange for real-world currency.
All said and done, Bless Online was an MMORPG that you should definitely have tried out as it was loaded with features and didn't cease to impress at all. However, Bandai Namco decided not to extend their agreement with Round8, ceasing their support of the game. As a result, the servers for Bless Online were closed at the end of November 2022.
